Label Worx LMS - Introduction

The LMS (Label Management System) is the core of everything we do here at Label Worx. Once set up with an account, you will receive login credentials for the LMS. The LMS Home Screen is the base of that, giving you easy access to all of the areas of the system that you will need in order to run your label efficiently.

This guide is designed to give you a quick run-through of the different areas of the Label Management System, which should give you a better overall understanding of the LMS.

TOP MENU

The Top Menu is used to navigate through the different areas of the LMS. You can access the various different services as well as the key areas for label information and your catalogue. Please find a run-through of the different Top Menu options below:

Home

Does exactly what it says, takes you to the Home Screen.

Labels

Here you can access the Record Labels page, where you can manage your labels and host all of your label details. You can enter all social links, bio, logo and any other information relevant to your label. This information is then sent through to the DSP's when we look to set up your label with them.

Artists

In this section, you can view or manage your Artist List or add new artists to the list. These artists can then be selected and assigned to your tracks when you create a release. (You can also create new artists as part of the release creation wizard)

Release Management

Possibly the most important part of the LMS, or at least the most used. This section contains your Release List, which is where you create and host your different releases for your label(s). There are other useful tools in this section such as the YouTube Monetisation and the Bundle Builder (which allows you to quickly & easily create products using tracks you have already created). You can also view any LW Compilations your tracks may have been selected for (if you have opted into the Compilations program)

Promotion

This section contains all of the different options and areas of our additional service, Promo Worx. You can create and send Promo campaigns to your contacts using our VIP Promo Sender tool as well as a whole host of feedback and analytics. You can find more information on Promo Worx here.

Royalty

Royalty Worx is an additional service and is a cloud-based accounting platform. We give you unparalleled flexibility to manage all types of deal structures and accounts to your artists & licensors in an intuitive, streamlined way. You can find out more information on Royalty Worx here.

Demos

Demo Worx is another additional service from Label Worx. Demo Worx gives you the ability to quickly review and respond to hundreds of music demos like never before. You can now rid your inbox of emails from artists with large attachments and broken download links by letting Demo Worx handle the hard work for you. You can find more information on Demo Worx here.

Reports

The Reports section of the Top Menu hosts all of the different reports or analytics within the LMS. Here you can check your Daily Sales Report to find out how releases are doing in real-time. There are also a number of reports based on your statement data, such as Label Sales Reports, Country Sales Reports and Artist Sales Reports.

Statements

In the Statements section, you can view all of your Label Worx statements issued to your label. You will also be able to submit your invoice for any royalties owed as well as downloading the XLS of your statement from here too.

Mastering

The Mastering section of the Top Menu will take you to the Mastering screen, where you can place any orders you may need. Support

Clicking Support from the Top Menu will take you through to our Knowledge Base. Here you should find support articles on most aspects of the LMS as well as a whole host of best practices on a number of topics/stores.

Settings

This part of the Top Menu will take you to the Account Settings page for your Label Group. This area hosts a number of settings for the label as a whole as well as a number of different settings which are specific to a particular additional service (for example, Royalty Worx Settings)

Tools

The Tools section of the Top Menu gives you access to the additional tools within the LMS such as the Event Schedule tool, where you can manage bookings for events such as ADE or Miami Music Conference and the Beatport Artists tool, which allows you to review stats such as followers and chart positions.
