"Expense Types" are categories used to group different types of outgoings together for ease of tracking, collating and accounting.
A common use for "Expense Types" is to account different types of expenses such as "Mastering" or "Remix Fees" to "Licensors" at different rates.
To add or edit an expense type complete the following steps -
1. Select "Royalty -> Maintenance -> Expense Types" on the top menu
2. Click the "New" button on the icon menu
3. Enter the "Expense Type Name" (This should be a descriptive word / category name)
4. Click the "Save" button on the icon menu
Note - To change expense information, choose expense from the Expense Types screen and choose edit.
